2020 Year-End U.S./UK Tax Planning

December 9, 2020
3:30 PM London

Event Details

U.S. citizens living in the UK face many obstacles to successfully growing their wealth. These cross-border financial planning and international tax issues are complex, but do not have to be overwhelming.

2020 has been an unprecedented year with the impact of COVID-19 and possible tax changes coming with a Biden administration. You are exclusively invited to a presentation designed to address unique year-end 2020 U.S./UK financial planning strategies and other common cross-border planning topics.

Effective investing for American expats requires a deep understanding of tax and reporting rules in multiple jurisdictions. Possible changing tax laws in the future may make taking certain actions in the final month of 2020 desirable.

  • Possible U.S./UK Tax Law Changes
  • Year End Tax Planning:
    • U.S./UK Roth Conversion
    • UK Pension Contributions/ Pension Allowances
    •  Making Gifts / Trust Planning
    • Charitable Giving (Dual Qualified Charities)
    • Pre-payment of UK Tax
  • Buying a house when one spouse is a U.S. Citizen and the other is not
  • Strategies to Maximize Equity Compensation
  • Global Financial Market Update

Please feel free to reach out with any questions about joining the webinar. If you are unable to attend on Wednesday, December 9th, please let us know and we will send a replay of the presentation.
