Steven Giacona, CPA and Managing Member of Round Table Wealth Management, was featured in a Private Asset Management article, titled – “Round Table Identifies Trio of Growth Prospects”. This article introduces Round Table’s top M&A prospect locations and sheds light on the firm’s expertise in the industry and its explanation for potential M&A. As quoted in the article:
“Giacona, who launched the firm in 1999 with eight affluent families as clients, said his firm would be seeking M&A prospects in California, Florida and Texas, which he described as Round Table’s ‘target areas’, as he anticipates further consolidation within the industry.”
He also stated in the article that “We have clients in the US and a growing international client base; Hong Kong, with its large population of expats, is promising, as is the UK.” “Firms in the private wealth space need a differentiator – whether that is by-product, client type or the advisors they employ,” he also explained.
“We have advisors with specific expertise, for example, one specialist in offshore financial accounts; another who works with female clients going through a divorce or having recently been widowed, and a CPA who specializes in high-end law. We have to think long-term and work out a sustainable business model, while working out where other specialties could fit into the model, perhaps by merger or acquisition.”
